Disappearing caudal fin
Hi all,
Some months back, I noticed the caudal fin of my XB had been slowly "disappearing" (Becoming smaller and there are no obvious jagged signs of fin rot). I treated it with Melafix daily for a week but it didn't seem to help. A bro here suggested using aquarium salt for 4 weeks (Water change add salt in), again it didn't seem to help. Due to the fact that I have rays in the tank, I am not too adventurous to try every fin-rot medication out there in the market and all aquarium owner's advice seem to point back to this 2 methods. What else can I do? |

I suggest to bag it out into a hosipatal tank bro. I gt ray and aro too. So to nt disrupt the ray while medicating which could make it worse.
I up temp to 30 and dose melafix and prima . In two weeks all done. In main tank I slowly wc twice and wash up the sump. Hope it helps. |
