Default Lighting & Aro .......

I think many here like me are trying to find the best lighting to bring the best out of our aro. I had conducted some testing on my own & hope other can share their experience here. Check out my gallery & see whether any lighting here is of interest.

I'm not sure what I like yet. Wish I got space above my tank to set up all my collection that include Nan, PL (with red/red tube), PL (red/white), PL actinic, osram full spectrum, TFC, Zoo flora .... etc. Too bad, some light r too dim to illuminate my ESR for photo shot. Above few for a start. Hope with more sharing here, we may find the right lighting for our aro.

I like the red with PL red/red tube. Seem to retain some blue reflection. Like the bluish shine. Lighting choice is important!

NAN lights always turn the whole aro red! Nice but albit unnatural...

PL lights also help to emphasize the colour but looks more natural and makes gauging the true colour of the SR easier I think....

Quite true. If aro not so nice, right lighting will make aro look nice too.
