pectoral fin
my new aro today jumped quite a bit in the bag when i was moving it back home
subsequently i think it injured its left pectoral fin as i can see it holding it close to its body sometimes while swimming will this injury be permanent or will it heal in time? or will the aro, be "handicapped", swimming with one pectoral extended and the other not so extended.... |

Well...from the pic cannot really tell how bad is the breakage. Is it the hard bone area of the pectoral? if it is..then u might want to cut the whole pectoral fin at the broken part and wait for it to grow back....and the growing back will take pretty long...maybe 4-5mths to reach to its original size..

From what i can see..there is no breakage...just that the hard bone part is bended...i am not too sure if you want to perform op on it..but such bend is pretty much would be permanent even when it grows into adulthood..
i dun think the jumping of the aro in the bag would cause this? |
