Bro, could it be a torn after knocking onto something? A pic to show will be better

Yup, a pic would be helpful.

But it sounds like he jumped at an opening in your tank cover. My aros get that once on a while, while leaping for falling food of trying to get at something above the tank. If its just a scrape, don't worry. Keep the water parameters good, and it should heal right up in a few days. But if its bleeding or a huge chunk is ripped off, you might want to apply some antibiotic to the area.

don't worry, most probably due to abrasion with the tank cover while jumping. experienced it too. keep the water parameter good and it'll heal in no time.

Don't worry, mine use to have that when it bang into the suface skimmer. Its just a scrap, leave it alone and should recover in 3-5 days. you will not even know its there.

It is probably traumatic of origin. It might have dashed against something & scraped off the skin. Not to worry, it'll heal even if you don't do anything about it.
