Protruding anus is sometimes caused by intestinal parasites such as worms that irritate the bowels. Straining when defaecating results in the protrusion. In these cases deworming your aro would help relief the protruding anus.
I've had some success treating protruding anus with a dewormer called Closantel/Albendazole. 2 cycles of treatment 2 weeks apart should be enough to clear any intestinal worms. |
